1. Overview
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants California residents specific rights regarding their personal information. IdeaDunes respects and supports these rights for all California users.
2. Your Rights Under CCPA
As a California resident, you have the right to:
Right to Know
Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you, the sources, purposes, and third parties with whom it is shared.
Right to Delete
Request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions (legal obligations, completing transactions, security).
Right to Correct
Request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing
IdeaDunes does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Right to Data Portability
Receive your personal information in a portable, readily usable format (CSV, JSON).
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights — no price changes, service denial, or service level differences.

4. How to Exercise Your Rights
You can exercise your CCPA rights through any of these methods:
- Dashboard: Use the Privacy Controls in your account settings to access, export, or delete your data
- Email: Send a request to privacy@ideadunes.com
- Contact Form: Submit via our contact page
We will verify your identity before processing requests and respond within 45 days (extendable by 45 additional days for complex requests, with notice).
5. Do Not Sell My Personal Information
IdeaDunes does not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. We do not and will not sell your data to third parties. Period.
6. Authorized Agent
You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will require written authorization and identity verification for both you and the agent.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. Upon account deletion, data is purged within 90 days, with backups cleared within 30 additional days.
8. Changes to This Notice
We may update this CCPA notice periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted here with an updated revision date.
