Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reset my password?

Visit the password reset page, enter your email address, and follow the instructions sent to your inbox. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you will also need your recovery code.

Can I import data from another CRM?

Yes. IdeaDunes supports CSV imports for contacts, leads, accounts, and deals. We also offer guided migration from Salesforce, HubSpot, and other major platforms. See our migration guide for details.

What is the difference between roles and permissions?

Roles define broad access levels (Admin, Manager, Member), while permissions control specific actions within modules (create, read, update, delete). Admins can customize both from the Settings panel.

How do I connect my email to IdeaDunes?

Navigate to Settings > Email Integration, authenticate with your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account, and IdeaDunes will sync conversations automatically with the corresponding contact records.

Is there a mobile app?

IdeaDunes is fully responsive and works on any mobile browser. A dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android is on our product roadmap — check What's New for updates.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Go to Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Annual plans can be prorated. View all plan details on the pricing page.

How do I enable two-factor authentication?

Go to Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication. Choose your preferred method — authenticator app, SMS, or email. We recommend authenticator apps like Google Authenticator or Authy for the strongest protection. Save your recovery codes in a secure location.

How do I create a project?

Navigate to Projects in the dashboard sidebar and click "New Project." Enter the project name, description, and timeline. You can assign team members, set milestones, and choose between Kanban, list, or timeline views to organize your work.

Can I customize dashboard widgets?

Yes. Click the customize icon on your dashboard to add, remove, resize, and rearrange widgets. Choose from KPI cards, charts, activity feeds, calendar, tasks, pipeline views, and more. Each user can personalize their own layout.

How do I set up workflow automation?

Go to Dashboard > Automation > Create Workflow. Select a trigger event, set conditions, and define actions. Test in draft mode before activating. Pre-built templates are available for common scenarios like lead nurturing and task escalation.

How do I export my data?

Every module supports CSV export. For bulk exports, use Settings > Data Export to download all data at once. The REST API also supports programmatic extraction. Enterprise plans can schedule automated exports to external storage.

What languages does IdeaDunes support?

IdeaDunes supports 20 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Polish, and Swedish. Switch languages from the header language selector.

How do I invite team members?

Go to Settings > Team > Invite Members. Enter email addresses, assign roles (Admin, Manager, Member), and set module-level permissions. Invitees receive an email with a link to join your workspace. You can also generate shareable invite links for bulk onboarding.
